Agreed. The pickled beets were the main thing I was referring to in
my statement. Each to their own, I suppose.

The fried egg sounds intriguing, but it also sounds like it could
be quite messy. Are the eggs cooked until the yolk is solid (over
hard?) ? Otherwise it sounds like you would have liquid egg yolk
squirting or dripping everywhere.
