Greetings to the list

I have been at Geocities for about three yrs. I only experienced one
episode when I could not get a picture to load. It was a .bmp picture.
As soon as I converted it to .jpg, it loaded without any problem. The
Geocities "Advanced Editor uploader" accepts .gif and .jpg files.

One small suggestion that may help is to scan ("re-sample" if you use
Photoshop) your jpg files at 60K or less, so they will display faster.
Geocities is an extremely sloooow site suffering from much Net-lock, so
you may want a fast loading picture.

I'm not sure who posted the original message, but I have time tomorrow
between 11 am and 1 pm MST to walk that person through the Geocities Ad Ed
Uploader.

If the original poster will contact me off-list, I'm sure we can address
the pictures in question.
