That would be me, and even more so, my lord husband. My mother was and is an
indifferent cook, his was flat-out AWFUL. Jared learned to cook out of
self-defense. I am still never allowed to bring bologna into the house, even if
I wanted to. Oh well, at least one problem I have not had in my married life is
that hubby never, ever complains that I'm not the cook his mother was. Rather,
he praises me for the same with a glad cry! He is the scheduled chief
feast-cook for the 2003 Twelfth Night bid we're working on with Ms. Huette, more
when we know more. His mother would have been quite bewildered, I suspect.
