Hi!  I ran across an old magazine clipping yesterday that called for bread,
fresh out of the oven, & fruit leather in various colors. Cut the fruit
leather into the shapes you want, brush the bread with eggwhite wash &
apply the fruit to the warm bread. brush with more eggwhite wash & pop in
the oven for a few minutes.
Very pretty effect if you're just looking for color on the crust.
