Well, she seems to like mushrooms and cheese so what about the pasties?  You
can make them ahead and freeze them. It seems she has a health issue,
perhaps diabetic.  She says no *white* flour so if you make pasties you
could substitute another type of flour for the dumpling.

An offering of assorted cheeses and fresh fruit along with nuts is always
good.  And just because she can't/doesn't eat sugar does not mean you can't
have a couple of offerings of sweets for the other guests.  Just let her
know which ones have sugar.
