They are one of their primary food sources, not found in any food book but in
I believe the book was Twilight Lords, about the military actions in ireland
during the time of Elizabeth I. Good reading somwhat gruesome though.
Also mutton was the pirmary meat of Henry VIII, look at the Hampton court
kitchens and you will find more mutton made than any other meat cooked.
