I watched Lord of the Rings with a friend of mine. He had already seen the
movie, so I asked him not to comment while I saw it for the first time. He
made it through to the part where the big statues are guarding the valley.
Then, he leaned over and whispered, "Talk to the hand." I lost it. Laughed
out loud while everyone else was holding their breath... When we discussed
it later, he said, "I could have said 'Stop! In the name of love.' Now
every time I see that scene it will be tainted.
