not White...... Yes, it's a nice book.
It came out in 1999, so it's not a 2000 or
2001 release. It won the James Bear Award for
cookbook of the year. He writes for Savoir among
other gourmet magazines. And his website is

For anyone interested in such things, his
latest is Mediterranean Vegetables.
Hope this clears up who wrote the book under
discussion....
