Probably one of those recurring thread things!
But it is amazing how the same basic recipe pops into different cuisines
from diffusion. I think it would be a neat thing to do sometime. How
many versions of french toast or fried dough can we come up with? And
would you consider the islamic flaky pastry to be fried dough or would
that go in under fry-bread?
