Silly in general, or silly in an SCA context? I agree in the last part,
not in the second. Besides, pit-cooked lichen with onions and berries
taste *good*.

Ohh, I agree fully that you get strange cutoff-phenomena if you have a
date. In particular if we consider that the culture was significantly
different in different parts of Europe during the middle ages. Northern
Scandinavian backcountry vs. urban northern Italy?
