I've just finished going over a piece written soon after the coronation of Richard III that goes into, among other things, the coronation banquet. The author noted that the third course was served so late that all they had time for was hippocras and wafers. . . It's nice to know that even when Things Are Massively Delayed for us, at least they're also period. <grin> Alban
