[Sca-cooks] No Sh*t, there THEY were in MY kitchen

this weekend I was trading 'no shit, there they were in my kitchen'
stories with some people from the cooks list (that is, stories about
people who innocently or deliberately invade your kitchen or otherwise
take up space when you are trying to cook). The next day, I encountered
the wierdest one of all.

The dayboard area at this event was partially in a shade pavillion and
backed up against a little ditch with a windbreak of trees. Halfway
through the afternoon, what was later identified by stunned onlookers as a
groundhog of medium size rocketed out of the undergrowth, through the
armor dump, through the dayboard area under, and under the tables, out the
other side, and through and out of someone's pavillion.

It beats the dead mouse we found in the kitchen drain one year all hollow.
