Was asked:

Do male camels not make good beasts of burden? Perhaps they are harder
>to control? Or do the Arabs milk camels? Maybe its because female

All good questions.  It's  my understanding, admittedly third hand, that
male camels are only good for making more camels.  Perhaps someone from the
Equestrian list may have the straight poop?
