It sounds like you are thinking about the kitchen they're putting  in  at
Glaedenfield (the Glaedenfield Centre for Medieval and Reaissance Studies).
Part of it's modern, while the back part is set up for those who want to
cook in an Elizabethan style kitchen (complete with wood fired brick bread
ovens)
