Hugh Plat's Delightes for Ladies (1609, give or take) has a few recipes, as
does Digby. Then there's the Bartholomew Dowe book from the 1580's, whose
exact title I forget. I think it may be in the Florilegium, but the details
are currently semi-unavailable to me, lost on the other side of my brain
(trying to figure out how to make Linux recognize a Mac-formatted drive, at
which point I hope to have access to e-mail and such more than a week or two
old).
