According to Dr. Atkins, whose diet i'm on right now, maltodextrin
can lead to some insulin release. Additionally, Dr. Atkins says that
aspartame does also, so that saccharine is safer for diabetics.
However, i am not a doctor, so you should probably continue your
research.
