So after reading all the horror stories, I have to ask - are there any good
American beers, or to be more specific, lagers (not being too fond of the
dark, frothy, etc etc that everyone else is) that people can recommend?

BTW, I am coming to Pennsic this year (will be in Drachenwald Royal, N13)
and am looking forward to meeting some more of the faces behind the voices.
What were the details of the SCA-Cooks meeting? Have we organised one yet?
