[Sca-cooks] Noce d'India

Would you please provide a transcription of the portion of the recipe
listing the spices? I have a similar quandry with two different words for
the orange in one of my Catalan recipes from 1380, appearing side by side in
a list of juices. Could it be a parenthetical reference to common terms for
the same spice (nutmeg), without the punctuation? At least in the Catalan
manuscripts I'm studying, there is almost no punctuation to separate sidebar
comments from main text.

FWIW: "nou noscada" is nutmeg in Catalan, and I've found no references to an
"Indian nut" in the Catalan or Spanish sources within the 200 year span I'm
studying. I also doubt it is "macis." This is also Catalan for mace (and
given the period, it makes sense they would share the word).
