 With my family it was a ripe tomato sandwich.
Big, thick, slice of red or yellow garden ripe tomato
still warm from sunshine, on fresh homemade white
bread w/ a thin layer of miracle whip.
white bread was always used for leftover roast beef
sanwiches as well. the rest were almost always on
wheat bread. Those are also the only ones that got
miracle whip instead of mayo.
