I'm currently in the final throes of prepping for our midwinter feast
this coming saturday. the feast is set in denmark, 1366, so the food
comes from harpestreng, buch von guter spiese, and some suggestive
bits from the goodman where i have nothing nearer. it features venison
in a major way since i got a whole bambi  for NZ$3/kg, butchered
(that'd be about US$1.20).
