YUM, one of my favorites too!

Oddly enough, I make this from my middle eastern styled lamb
leftovers. I think the pepper,oregano and mint just sort of add
in well with the apples.

IIRC there is a lamb/quince dish in the miscellaney, I may just
have to make it sometime!

Another sweet meat
pie I like to do is Cornish Pie, using equal weights each of
lamb, onions and
apples, [say 1 lb or 1/2 kg] cut into bite sized pieces and baked
in a two-crust
pie.
