I have a marrow pie recipe that will knock your socks off .will post as soon
as I dig it up.   It is a dessert----chirhart

Maybe the dessert was something else, I just remember it
being called a "marrowbone" and he was apparently
considered a bit odd/old-fashioned? for wanting it.
