[Sca-cooks] Steamed Puddings...

Hello Everyone!

I watched the evile Martha Steward (I can't help it! I accidentally flip to
the foodTV network and if she's on, my remote gets possessed and doesn't
want to change) and she did a sweet pudding recipe for the holidays with
those cool molds. The mold is put into boiling water so it steams/cooks the
pudding.

Being the impressionable sort (or possessed by the evile queen...whichever
you believe more)I went out an bought one of those cool molds and would love
to test it out for Yule (maybe...probably I'll use it for some other pot
luck or party). It would look very impressive (the mold I got was very
cool) used, either way. Anyhow, I was wondering if people out there had any
period recipes for these sorts of puddings? Both sweet dessert type and the
more typical mincemeat sort of cakes I've come across on the internet.

Love to hear your opinions/recipes please! :)

By the way...www.surlatable.com is an evile site. There is a store near
where I work and this cook shop is pretty pricey, but they have the coolest
doo-dads.
