Congrats to the D-backs who once again proved that you can buy the Pennant!

I'm not holding out hopes for the end of the countless
"neighborhood-of-second-base-but-n
> ot-actually-on-it" Soriano double plays (twice against the D-Backs, at
least once aginst the Mariners),
Shady but not too uncommon for all middle infielders to pull off. Even
Alfonso of your beloved METS.

nor the too frequent tags out at the plate with Posada's empty glove while
he holds the ball in his other hand (twice in the World Series),
A perfectly legal play, all the rules require is control of the ball.
Umpires know that the catchers are doing this but to hold the ball in the
glove at times invites injury. Piazza has been guilty of this also.

nor Derek-Jeter-who-can-do-no-wrong's classic step with the rear leg into
the strike zone and unaccountably being hit in the leg (twice in the ALCS),
You are starting to sound bitter. All good leadoff men do this.

Thorbjorn
I rooted for the Yankees (I hate the Yankees, because I dislike Mark Grace
of the DBacks more!)
