With regard to the recipe in Food Fit for Pharaohs,
there isn't an original recipe or text cited. She gives
a recipe for Hamine Eggs on page 28 and a recipe for
and eggah on page 32. This book was done for the British
Museum so you should be able to find a copy.
Speaking of which Hilary Wilson's Egyptian Food and Drink
which was published by Shire Egyptology, 1988
[ISBN:0852639724] has several mentions to eggs in the index.
Also eggs are discussed in Brothwell, Dan and Patricia.
