[Sca-cooks] Thanksgiving feasts

I don't really have family, so I did "potluck" with some friends.  We
had:
a Hutterite turkey (yummmmm)
Basic stuffing (okay)
Someone's amazing mashed potatoes, with garlic and sour cream beat in
Some sort of yam dish involving slow cooking and lots of butter and
brown sugar ;-)
Autumn greens salad (mixed dark greens with onion, scallions, parsley
and a walnut oil/cider vinegar vinagrette--this was my contribution)
Punkin pie with whipped cream
Amazing homemade raspberry wine, and a homemade sparkling wine

I got to take the turkey carcass home, and yesterday I made Mulligatawny
soup out of it....Yummy, and it reminds me of my Mom.
