I have a number in my North American Indian cookbooks. Most are baked
goods, variations on bread and tortilla-like things, and of course mush.

You can find quite a lot of information and recipes on-line if you use
"acorn flour" as your search key. Try these:

            http://www.dcn.davis.ca.us/vme/ARNHA/acornepi.html
            http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/keninga/acorn.htm
            http://www.mcn.org/ed/ross/metini/acorn.htm
            http://www.easyfunschool.com/article1131.html
                            (very detailed)
            http://www.nativetech.org/food/acornsoup.html
(one ingredient is "a lot of hard work")

That's enough to get you started. Note that if you try searching on "acorn
soup" you may get a lot of winter squash recipes.
