Humor seems to be the best medicine, as usual :-\ (that's intended to be sort
of a half-smile).  That, and things that distract me, like good discussions
on my email lists.  It's one of the reasons I've gone back to the computer;
although I'm getting a number of messages of sympathy and condolences, which
I am very grateful for even if they sometimes make me cry, it also helps to
remind me that the world goes on and that there are other things I can do and
think about besides the baby.
My husband has been an absolute rock of strength, and my shire members have
done everything from come sit with me when my husband couldn't be here, to
cooking dinner for us to make sure we eat.  The only way we could find enough
jobs for everyone who wants to help would be to allow them to do every single
thing for us, from mowing the yard to washing the dishes to taking out the
trash.  Each day gets a little easier.  I'm going back to work tomorrow; I
need to get out of the house, and fortunately my mundane job involves helping
people - in this case, helping handicapped children be able to attend and
function in the public schools.  And one of the children I am scheduled to
see tomorrow is an absolute ray of sunshine who can make you feel better just
by smiling at you.
Those of you who live in the East and Atlantia, we are going to Kingdom
Crusades next weekend, at least for the day.  Among other things, my
husband's equerry is getting his AOA, which we recommended him for.  Perhaps
we will see some of you there.
