[Sca-cooks] roasted grain beverages

I'm checking in late here, but cast thy eyes eastwards to the Japans.  There is
a beverage called "mugi-cha" brewed with roasted barley. Tasty enough, served
hot or cold as a refreshing summer drink.  I know nothing of its history,
perhaps Kiri-san could chime in here?
