>From what I recall, nothing like modern ones. The
almond grinders I can get from kitchen supply
stores here look like cheesegraters or meat
grinders and work on the cutting/grating
principle. Old almond mills were more like
handmills - stones for grinding the nuts. I will
see if I can't find a picture somewhere, i vaguely
recall having seen one.
