It depends greatly on how much you buy. Gold leaf is on the pricey side,
but my silver leaf cost me less than $5, and it would easily cover a small
or medium-sized lamprey. Silver is cheap these days, and vark is very,
very thin.

Although I would still opt for the sparkle powders for the bluish color.
