Hi Everyone!

I think we've discussed this one before but I can't remember exactly....
(nor can I check the Florri from work - Wretched net-nanny!! ;-)

Was/is there a period Arabic/Middle Eastern Sweet [Lokum / Rahad-Lukom ??]
that was the for-runner of today's Turkish Delight? (modern recipe of
Rosewater; geletin etc).  Also the modern version of Turkish Delight - any
idea what year it became popular?

If yes - can anyone send me a recipe for it??
