[Sca-cooks] Is everyone OK?

My company's corporate offices are across the river from Manhattan in
northern NJ.

The helpdesk supervisor that I talked to this morning said they watched the
twin towers collapse.

It was hard enough on me watching it on the news, I can't imagine watching
it happen live not on tv....

It has been pretty horrific to see the World Trade Centers implode and
disappear
off the horizon. Part of the
Pentagon (side closest to the National Cemetery) was hit by another kamikaze
jet
and part of the E ring is now gone. (there are five rings in the Pentagon).
The
White House, Congress, and other federal areas are closed and being
evacuated.

The military around here has gone to a threatcon level of either the delta
or
bravo level.  At Andrews AFB, the airbase is frozen-in that no one can leave
and
no one can enter unless they are on active duty.

They just announced that two American Airlines jets are missing from the
Dulles
Airport (about 3 miles from me).  I have heard the sonic boom of military
fighters as they are overflying the area.

Many SCAdians use AIM or Netscape Instant Messaging in the DC area; so it
seems
that people are okay.

I would ask that everybody, stop, and offer a prayer to God, Yahweh, Allah,
or
their deity, for everybody.
