[Sca-cooks] Fw: Threats to SCAdians with Middle Eastern personas.

Caid Crown Tournament is tomorrow, and we are still going on with it.  Some have
advised against Middle-Eastern costuming, and I'm even getting paranoid about
ladies in veil and wimple but I'm just wimpy.  There will be a moment of silence
and black rosettes displayed on Kingdom and personal banners, but the prevailing
feeling is that in our own small way, we are not letting the pigdogs win.

I understand that Atenveldt has a large Middle-Eastern themed event, the Hafla,
scheduled for tomorrow, and they are thinking about cancelling it.  Sigh.  I'd
bet in favor of the SCAdians with swords in a fight, but one bubba with a
shotgun could ruin it all.
