Thank you. I also did my very best to make it clear that I had no
argument with you, and was merely pointing out that the statements you
made, no matter who held them or what their viewpoint may be, are
currently, if not always historically, inaccurate. It really is not a
matter of viewpoint, any more than the various outrageous claims made
about Jews are accurate from a certain perspective. It is, for the most
part, simple ignorance and in some cases xenophobia.

A simple "<shrug>... Hey, some people hold these beliefs, whaddaya want
from me?" would have been sufficient to make your point, if that's what
it was.

I'm sorry this occurred, but I did try every way I could to prevent it,
short of saying, "Yeah, these things are true."
