We Meridians are a humble people who would offer kind words, always a warm bed to rest your bones no matter the day or hour, peaches so juicy they run down your chin, Gulf Coast and Mountain air within daytrip of each other, moderate winter and lovely Autumn/Spring, no ice on wondshields (very often), an ear to hear the stories or your trials and conquests . . . . and a huge mutant with a rising snap, and quick like a cat, that is the bane of every southpaw (and righty, for that matter) in the world.

Not much, but it is offered in earnest and with love to a kind and generous man who gives inspiration to so many so often.

Oh yes we have more entertaining football (especially that one my friends
refer to as aerial pingpong)  good sport .... and the fact that the guys
where proper shorts gives most women a really good excuse to watch.

We are a friendly bunch ... especially up here in Queensland.  Doens't cost
that much to live (ratio to ratio on money earned and cost of living -
we're pretty much on par with other places.)   Lots of sunshine .... lovely
beaches ..... some great fun (especially when we have our end of year
camping event).  Lots of nice people .... and plenty of budding cooks.  We
aren't that greedy up here we still like you lots even if you only come for
a visit.
