Greetings to the Cooks List:

To celebrate the ascension of Their Royal Highnesses Bela Kos and
Elizabeth O'Byrnne to the Thrones of the Outlands, a Dessert Competition
will be held at Coronation.

All entries must be edible in some part.

These are the categories:

1) Desserts to be eaten with the fingers.
2) Desserts to be eaten with a utensil.
3) Desserts of one kind that looks like another (illusion food).
4) Desserts displaying the heraldry of The Outlands.
5) Desserts that move, erupt, eject or otherwise put on a display for
the amusement of Their Majesties and the assembly. Desserts in this
category may neither be currently alive, nor so spoiled that they move
of their own accord. The entry may contain a human, but no other living
creature. The entrant is solely responsible for cleaning up any mess
caused by their entry. NO FLAMING PROJECTILES.

A dessert may be entered in multiple categories, but will only be judged
in one category, at the judges' discretion.

These are the rules:

All entries must arrive at Coronation in a finished condition. There is
no access to the kitchen and very limited access to electricity. Of
course, final assembly may be done at the site.

If you wish to parade into the feast hall with your entry, this MUST be
cleared with THL ThorvaldR, AND me (Lady Marged) before the event.
Surprise Their Majesties, surprise the assembly, surprise yourself! But
do NOT surprise the autocrat or me.

Documentation is required, no exceptions. Documentation will consist of
a copy of the original recipe, and your version (redaction) of the
recipe. Please include justification for any major changes (dairy free,
etc). Cookbooks open to a recipe page will not be permitted on the
display table, and will not be counted as documentation. Please present
documentation on a sheet (or 2 or 3, whatever) of paper. Looks count,
spelling counts. Creativity counts, big time.

Questions? Please feel free to call or email me.

YIS,
Lady Marged Tylluan Fach
