Some of this is new to me, even though I've been in the SCA
for a while.

Has anyone ever written a good introductory article about the
SCA Chirurgeons/system? What they are. What they are not. When
they should be used. When not? How someone interested can get
involved. A description of the structure and this guild system?
Where to get more information.

I think such an overview would be a nice addition to the
NEWCOMERS section in the Florilegium.

Perhaps such an article would help get the point across that
the the Chirugeon system is meant for emergency use and not
as a routine place to go to get bandages changed or other
routine medical things done.

Anyone know of such an article? Or be willing and qualified
to write one? Please feel free to pass this request on.
