Isn't that the one with the computer that sounds a lot like an Aussie?  If
so, that was also the first SF book I ever read.  My cousin had already
introduced me to Tolkien, and then a friend convinced me that I had to read
this one.  It got me hooked...though I still prefer fantasy, for the most
part.  Now understand...I was in my late 30's when all of this happened!  So
I came into this wonderful world quite late in life, comparatively
speaking...but I've been making up for lost time ever since!
