I have low friends in high places, and I can't blow their covers. I get an
aweful lot of books [I used to be a fiction reviewer and specialized in
fantasy, SF and e-books] ahead of the printers and reviewers.

As you can tell, from the Bujold list - I can keep a secret...

I envision bug butter to be sort of like cottage cheese. Curds and 'whey'
that get regurgitated and packed in 'honey' cells. Solids into the cells and
the whey part gets eaten by the workers in the hives. I would think that you
make the little cubes that Mark had Miles try by draining the whey like you
were draining tofu or farmers cheese. I would love 'bug butter' if they
could actually make a bug produce it.

Hey now, did you get one of the travelling reading copies of DI or have you
managed to get your own copy already? And what do you mentally visualize as
"bug butter"?
