Not play, really- just got back from my walk. Oof. Ten city blocks.
Beautiful outside though- the gardens are all in whacko mode- and this is
Portland, so there's all sorts of stuff going. Most of teh cherries are
bloomed out, but the plums are still going and the dogwood (white and pink)
are GLORIOUS! And the flowers are everywhere, spilling out through fences
and over walls, the allysium look like bubbles when you've put too much
soap in the machine. And there's pansies and johnny-jump-ups and TULIPS!
Bright red and yellow and the ones that start red at the base and go to
yellow at the tips- you can practically see the brush marks from the
fairies' paint job. Lots of Azaleas and bluebells and some marigolds... and
it seems like every other house is having work done- remodel of paint job
or major yard remodeling. The neighborhood will look a bit different in a
couple of months!

And walking sure beats staying home and looking for something else to snack
on.
