I'm so glad to hear about your mom.  As a 3-time survivor, I can tell you
that love and support are the best medicine for cancer...they give us a
reason to continue to fight the disease.  Without all of the folks in my SCA
family...most especially that wonderful guy who's been my support and life
for the past 23 years, I doubt I would have made it through the first one!!!

Once she's feeling well again, she might want to consider getting involved
with some of the activities of the American Cancer Society.  I'm quite sure
that there must be a Relay for Life out there, and they are always looking
for team members/captains.  It really feels good to do something positive to
fight the disease.
