As some of you know, I'm the Assistant Head Cook for "John Barleycorn Gets
Re-Indentured" next weekend. This is our menu - the Head Cook came up with
it and has all the recipes (i.e. I DON'T have the recipes - yet). I suspect
most of it is not documentable, though more-or-less period-oid.

Dayboard:
Beef and barley soup with greens (a vegetarian version will also be
provided)
Hardboiled eggs with mustard sauce
Stuffed eggs with raisin sauce
Cheeses and veggies
Mini bread bowls with meatballs in brown sauce

Feast:

1st course:
Sallat of mixed greens
Bread with honey butter and herbed cheese
Roasted chicken with apple-currant stuffing
Roasted carrots
(we may or may not include a rice dish)

2nd course:
Stewed beef
Noodles and cheese
Dilled cucumbers

Sweet:
Bread pudding with dried apricots and raisins
