I heard a modern version performed once - I suspect it was the
arrangement by John Rutter - but the meter of the period lyrics doesn't
fit the modern tune.

 From a web search I found the following references:

Sung to the same tune as the carol "Nowell, Nowell, this is the
salutation of the angel Gabriel" as presented in MS Sloane, No. 2593,
Brit. Mus.

"Popular Music of the Olden Time", William Chapell, Chappel & Co., 1859,
London.
Reprinted by Dover Publications, 1965, New York.  LoC# 65-14107

Another modern arrangement of the song was made by Paul Nelson -
possibly with the original lyrics and based on the "original" tune.
