[Sca-cooks] Cooking over fire Casbah! Feast,

And in the rain? ;-)

I like the idea of having both options. One day, I would like to learn
to cook over an open fire - not something I can really practice where I
live! (I've cooked on a woodstove, but it is not the same.) I have seen
Andrea do it, at a demo, but I was somewhat glued to the fiber arts demo
at the other end of our set up. The only other person who knew about
that kept being called away. I do too many things...

But I admit, I wouldn't want to depend on that for a decent hot meal in
miserable weather. Spoiled by gas stoves, I am... and this does sound
as if it makes a great deal of sense for feeding a group, who might not
all be able to sit down to a meal at the same time. This way the cook
gets away from the stove once in a while!
