Follow that Food yesterday afternoon (12/16) ran a segment on Apples and
included
a recipe from PLATINA or so they said. I just caught the mention of
the flying to Italy to sample one of the recipes for apples from the
oldest
cookbook.
I think it's this one Pork with Balsamic Vinegar, Crunchy Apples, and
Apple
           Puree   Recipe courtesy Fernando
           Pislor, Hassler Hotel, Italy.They don't include the
introduction
with the recipes, so it's hard to tell.
