my BRAT is broth, rice, applesauce and (plain) toast. I'm looking forward to
seeing the dress. I'm busy getting the handouts together for the five
classes my daughter and I are teaching Saturday.

1. Silk Tissue is verrrry thin silk.
2. I'll get pictures taken, although I'm not all that great to look at. If
you wish, you can go to my Yahoo profile at
http://profiles.yahoo.com/mordonna22? to see a fairly recent picture.
3. A BRAT diet is bananas, rice, applesauce and rice.
4. Prilosec is that purple pill they prescibe for acid reflux disease. I
have hyperacidosis. Had my gall bladder removed 30 years ago, now any fat
in my diet makes my tummy most unhappy.
5. His Majesty told me he wanted to award me the AoA "before you get away
from me again" even though he didn't have my scroll with him. He asked me
when I'd like to get the scroll, and the Collegium was the next event I
planned to attend that would have a Court. Around here, you usually don't
know ahead of time when you're getting an AoA, or most other awards. The
four Peer groups (Laurels, Pelicans, Knights, and Royals) usually know,
though, because either they sit vigil before accepting the peerage, or they
or their consort won Crown Tourney.
