[Sca-cooks] gas vs. electric ovens and ranges

Gas.  I think growing up in Lady Ayisha's house has spoiled me.  I can't
remember when we didn't have a gas stove, and after moving into the house in
Washington, we ended up with two of them when the catering kitchen was added
to the downstairs.

Unfortunately for me, when I moved in with my Lady, she has an electric
stove, I think it is the original one that came with the house.  The top
oven has a nasty hot spot which makes baking things a little bit more
interesting...  That, and I went through three potholders before it finally
sunk in that there are elements at the top and bottom that tend to char your
potholders when you're taking out large pans.
