Rice... was Re: [Sca-cooks] gas vs. electric ovens and ranges

i dont know about anyone else.. but
i HAD a rice cooker.
it  burned every pot of rice i ever made in it, and scorched the veggies i
tried to steam in it.  did i just get a bad model?
