My sister is partial deaf.  I learned some.  Now mostly forgotten because of
not using it.  What made me a loud herald was having to consistently yell at
the top of my lungs to get my sister's attention cause she refused to wear
her hearing aids when I was younger.  Thanks to a bard, I'm now a good, loud
herald.  Aurore
